Windows Vista - Clear cache for dead offline files

Add the FormatDatabase (DBWD) registry entry to the following registry subkey:

(First add Parameters under Csc, if doesn't exist)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Csc\Parameters

Then, set the FormatDatabase registry entry to 1.

The restart your computer.
